Founded in Madrid around 2010 by percussionist Jorge Pérez, PATAX is an emblematic group in contemporary fusion music. A former student of Berklee College of Music and a member of the prestigious Berklee Global Jazz Institute, Jorge Pérez has worked with renowned musicians including Danilo Pérez, Joe Lovano, and John Patitucci.

Drawing inspiration from Weather Report, Irakere, Miles Davis, Snarky Puppy, and Paco de Lucía, PATAX combines jazz, flamenco, funk, and Afro-Cuban rhythms with extraordinary energy and virtuosity, creating a unique musical universe.

Today, PATAX presents an explosive live show featuring greatest hits by Michael Jackson and The Beatles, alongside the best of the group’s original compositions. A generous and festive musical experience, driven by bold arrangements, remarkable musicianship, and a powerful stage presence that has captivated audiences around the world.
