A ORCHESTRA, TWO CONDUCTORS, A UNIQUE SYMPHONIC EXPERIENCE !
A two-headed orchestra, born from the meeting and friendship of young conductors Marc Hajjar and Victor Jacob, the Ensemble Nouvelles Portées brings together musicians of which he also sometimes makes his soloists to embrace a vast repertoire, both symphonic that concertant and to offer the public a new experience of the symphonic concert ! A highlight: the creation in 2018 of a new concept and event, '' The Orchestra Within Your Reach ''.
"ONE ORCHESTRA, TWO CONDUCTORS" LIVE THE GESTURES THAT GUIDE MUSIC
This program proposes a new version of the symphonic concert built on a double artistic and sound vision of the orchestra and the interpreted repertoire, allowing the public to live a unique and original musical experience. The first part is articulated around the same work "in mirror", interpreted by the same orchestra but directed successively by the two heads of the Ensemble Nouvelles Portées: Marc Hajjar and Victor Jacob.
The second part offers the public the opportunity to participate in the world premiere of the work of composer Karol Beffa, written especially for the Ensemble Nouvelles Portées, a piece for orchestra and two conductors.
"THE ORCHESTRA WITHIN YOUR REACH" A NEW SYMPHONIC CONCEPT
How does an orchestra work? Why two leaders? The audience will find answers by living the orchestra from the inside and sharing, in interactive and fun proposals, the alchemy that unites an orchestra and its leader (s). The public will be invited to move between the various activities to build their tailor-made course.
The different workshops *, accessible from a very young age, will allow you to become familiar with both the instruments and the work on the program, as well as the role of each one in the large family of the orchestra. In high point, a concert where the spectators will be brought to be placed in the heart of the orchestra to live from inside the whole of the work which they will have (re) discovered in workshop. The whole will be followed by the symphonic concert "An Orchestra, Two Chefs".
* Possibility of replacing the workshops with a lecture on the role of the conductor
